INTRODUCTION(written by PeasantQueen): This whole idea came to me one night while I was sitting at my computer surfing for various web based magazines and comic circles. I thought about how much fun it would be to star something of my own something where various artists could come together and create a variety of Doujinshi that could be put together into some sort of 'webzine' but it was something that I could not do alone, nor inlist the help of most of my friends consitering, for the most part, they are writers, musicians, and actors rather then visual artists. That why this page was made, to find as well as connect a circle of artists under the title balLOONS. So here's the real question, are you a balLOON? ABOUT: As stated in the introduction balLOONS is a circle of artists coming together to create comics that will be put into the form of a web based magazine. MEMBERS ARE CURRENTLY NEEDED though as people join there will be fewer and fewer slots, so if your interested please join ASAP! Keep in mind nothing is final as of right now (also a lot of this will probably be rewriten once I have a sense of who is interested and what we all want to do). HOW TO JOIN: There is no set number of members, however there is a point where fewer and fewer people will be able to join, I'm sure as artists come and go there will be openings so keep a eye out. To join please send me (PeasantQueen) a note of sorts or shoot me a e-mail (see my devintart page for that) with a sample or a link to a sample of your work (be it writing or drawings) as well as a explanation as to why you would like to join and, if possible, what your average work load is like (school or otherwise) so I can fairly judge based on several aspects as to weather or not the sitchuation will be able to work. Remember--THIS IS NOT A OPEN FAN CLUB--it is a group of artists collaborating together, not everyone will be accepted, I'm sorry, that's just how things work sometimes. However from time to time there may be "guest appearances" in which non regular members can participate in a small portion of a project, so no worries, there's always hope.
